At Nando's, we take our customers' needs very seriously. That's why, in
1995, Nando's South Africa became the first Quick Service Establishment to
commission independent nutritional research on all its meal offerings.
The results of this research from the independent South African lab
Bio-Services, which are supported by research conducted by The Springwell
Nutrition Group from Canada, confirms that Nando's has a lot to crow about.
Jeff Bloch, Nando's spokesperson for the nutritional research project,
commented that "(t)he results were enhanced by the fact that Nando's only
uses A-grade chickens, which are trimmed of any excess fat before cooking.
Thereafter, our chicken is flame-grilled on our custom-designed grills which
burns away much of the remaining fat."
